Tip: Peek behind a dialogue Menu items that allow you to set a filter before any execution is done will bring a dialogue to the user. This dialogue blocks the user in the ability to view part of the form that is being displayed. This might be annoying, for instance if values are being displayed that the user wants to use in the query. By clicking, and holding the mouse button, on a part outside of the dialogue you are able to temporarily hide the dialogue and thus able to ‘peek’ behind it. This allows you to quickly look up any value you might want to use on your filter, for example. I have opened a menu item that shows a dialogue, partly blocking my view to the information displayed in the form behind. Here, I am clicking and holding outside of the dialogue allowing me to ‘peek’ what’s behind the dialogue.

This  function  is very powerful in Dynamics 365 , you can export Personalization from user and import to anther (user /all users ..) How to export Personalization form a specific  user ? Go to system administration/setup /Personalization go to mange per user tab and select Personalization user  you can control Personalization as you see you have two options (Personalization  allowed , explicit Personalization allowed) per page  also , you can select specific pages Personalization based on your demand  NOTES if you select multiple pages you cannot export (export available per page only) you can clear a specific Personalization  page or all Personalization for this user Click Export  How to apply Personalization ? Many customers need to print fixed and variables notes in sales order confirmation. Dynamics  365 implement this functionality without any customization or coding. So  If you have standard notes that you want to include in every document. if you have special notes for special orders or,  if you have social notes for special order lines. you can do all that with standard functionality. Moving data from one company to another has been pretty taxing ever since we suddenly were faced with the missing “Duplicate” feature when first diving into Dynamics AX 2012. For a while, we’ve been using the Data import export framework (DIEF) to export entities and import them back into other companies. That worked fairly good, but now with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition Platform update 11 we have a solution for copying directly between legal entities within a solution. I tried the concept out on a very superficial setup as there are A LOT of parameters and entities to configure and stack in the right order. I haven’t been able to do a full implementation of it to test it out in a proper scenario, but at least the concepts are looking to be working. I found this very cool  Google Chrome Extension , Table Browser Caller for D365FO . it’s very easy to install and use it. After adding the extension, there is a new button on the right side of the URL field: The button opens this form and on the “Config” tab you can Add the environment URL: After that you can search for an AX Table And open the Table Browser in your navigator.
